I wanted to share this Easter Dove card with you today. I made it for my swaps for the Columbus Regional SU! event, and my stamp clubs are also going to make it in March.
I played around with several different versions of this card before I was finally happy with it. I initally made the clouds and grass from My Digital Studio, but decided against using that version of it. The card base is Marina Mist.
I took a strip of Certainly Celery to create the grass.
I punched it with the Scallop Edge Border punch, then ran it back through a second time with the scallops in between the markings on the punch.
The end result looks like this.
I cut the cross shape out of it like this.
For the sky, I sponged Baja Breeze ink and used this cloud template that I created.
I used a second of the smallest sized Label Framelet and stamped the Easter Dove and sentiment into it and sponged the edges with Baja Breeze. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to help me get precise placement of my image.
